Active and retired civilian employees of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Coast Guard now have access to online shopping at myNavyExchange.com in accordance with a DoD directive. This same directive also extended access to in-store purchases to active civilian employees of the DoD and Coast Guard to all military resale activities on May 1, 2021.

“We are delighted to welcome these new customers to our NEX online store,†said Retired Rear Admiral Robert J. Bianchi, Chief Executive Officer of Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). “Expanding online shopping to a new group of authorized customers will allow us to increase our contribution to Navy quality of life programs, which will greatly benefit our military community. “

To access the NEX Online Store for shopping, civilian DoD and Coast Guard employees will need to create an account on myNavyExchange.com using their DoD ID or the last four digits of their Social Security number and Date of Birth. For any questions or issues with account creation, customers can contact 877-810-9030 in the continental United States or 001-877-432-1736 overseas.

To make purchases online, active and retired civilian employees of the DoD and Coast Guard must have a U.S. mailing address, including territories and possessions, as well as APO and FPO addresses. Online military exchanges cannot ship goods to local addresses in foreign countries.
