Once the store is complete, customers can leave the store without having to wait in line to check out and the charges are automatically charged to their Amazon account.
Matt Birch, Director of Amazon Fresh Stores, said, “We’ve heard from customers that they appreciate the seamless shopping experience that Just Walk Out technology enables, as well as the wide selection of food items. Customers will also find our dedicated store team ready to assist them with their purchases. »
It will also be a collection point for items purchased – or due to be returned – through Amazon’s online store.
The store will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekly.
